Competitive Division Coach Applications for the 2009 Outdoor Season
The Goulbourn Youth Competitive program is planning to field its largest number of competitive teams in its history for the upcoming 2009 outdoor season. All competive teams will be entered to play in the ERSL which is made up of Regional and Multi-Jurisdictional District League levels. A preliminary list is posted. Adjustments to these projected team entries will be made based on player interest and player quality.
In order to ensure the best coaching possible and be fully compliant with the Ontario Soccer Volunteer Screening requirements, GSC is requesting that all coaches interested in participating in the 2009 competitive outdoor program, including those that have coached for the GSC in the past, submit their applications by January 30th, 2009 (8pm at the latest). This will facilitate early selection of the 2009 team coaches which is critical to success at the higher competitive levels of soccer. All team Head Coach and Assistant Coach Positions are open to anyone meeting the minimum requirements. These include Senior Level Coaching Certification, and a clear police check on record with the club within the past four (4) years.
Competitive coach applicants are asked to complete the Competitive Coach Application Form and Volunteer Screening forms.

All new applicants will be required to provide references in line with the Volunteer Screening requirements.

All applicants will be reviewed by a selection committee, with the intent of selecting team Head Coaches and Assistants as early as possible.
